deep conditioning treatment at Lifestyle hairdressingHere at Lifestyle we’re on a mission to banish out of condition hair and deep conditioning treatments are an important part of our armoury!

So what’s so great about these treatments and why do we keep going on about them?

1. They leave your hair looking smooth and shiny
If you ever use words like dry, frizzy or unmanageable to describe your hair then you would certainly benefit from one of these treatments.

The outer layer of the hair is called the cuticle, and if not looked after properly it can quickly become roughed up instead of laying smooth, causing the hair to become frizzy and unmanageable. A treatment will condition this outer layer, restoring its smooth surface and making the hair shine once more.

2.  A treatment will restore the moisture in your hair
Whether it’s the central heating in winter or the sun in summer, our hair is constantly being sucked of the natural moisture it needs to stay in tip top condition. Stripped of this moisture hair becomes dull and damaged, but a regular deep conditioning treatment can go a long way to reversing this by adding moisture back into your hair giving it a smoother, shinier and healthier appearance.

3. They repair and protect your hair
A hair treatment can also restore weak and damaged hair and give it back its strength. And as strong hair is less prone to breaking, split ends and damage from heated appliances and chemicals, regular use of a treatment will ensures that after any damage has been repaired, your hair then stays in great condition.

At Lifestyle, our hair treatments are currently just £5 and we are encouraging all our clients to consider having one next time they are in the salon. It only adds 10-15 minutes to your appointment time and we’re confident you’ll notice the difference straight away.

Your stylist will be able to prescribe the best treatment for your hair type and condition (we have a number of different treatments from both Moroccanoil and KMS California) but please be assured, if we don’t think your hair would benefit we certainly won’t recommend it.
