The longer hair gets, the heavier it gets, especially if it’s thick. So long layers are a brilliant way to add lightness and movement and to stop hair from getting weighed down at the roots.
The Duchess of Cambridge is perhaps the best know exponent of classic, long, thick curls. They just exude chic style. Wear them cascading down with a centre parting or for a more formal, evening look pull across to one side and wear them falling over one shoulder.
