The team at the Aylesbury Salon has been loving the warm June weather and even better, we’ve had lots to celebrate this month.
Everyone loves a wedding and we’ve been spoilt at the Salon in the last couple of weeks with two to celebrate.
Last weekend, Salon Manager Lindsey married Dan over in Banbury. She looked really stunning and we loved the way Laura had done her hair for the occasion.
A couple of weeks earlier, Natalie tied the knot with Mark at the Five Arrows in Waddesdon. I’m sure you’ll agree she looked gorgeous too.
There are also two birthdays at the salon this month. Happy birthday to Lucy who celebrated at the beginning of the month, and to Kelly who’s birthday is on 27th June.
Lifestyle lobbying to protect you from the rouges of hairdressing
I was up in London recently at the House of Commons lobbying with other salon owners for the compulsory registration of hairdressers – something I feel passionately about.
During my 30+ years of running Lifestyle there have just been too many times when women have come to the salons distraught; hoping we can sort out the mess and damage that’s been caused after they’ve put their trust in a poorly trained or unqualified hairdresser.
So I joined the likes of Andrew Barton – hairdresser to the stars, who I am pictured with here – to lobby for a new registration scheme that will protect you from the rouges out there. The wheels of government seem to turn slowly but I’ll keep you posted on our progress!
